Come on down to Chester Racecourse this Easter and enjoy over 40 different cask ales at Chester’s newest Real Ale Festival.
As part of the Chester Food, Drink & Lifestyle Festival we are bringing to town a taste sensation.

BeerFest will allow the residents and visitors of the beautiful Heritage City of Chester to enjoy an evening of live music, drink and great company!
Session times will run from Thursday 1st April – Sunday 4th April beginning at 7pm until 11pm.

There will be fantastic live performances from a variety of bands and ensembles displaying the best of British folk, jazz and contemporary rock music.

Friday 2nd April: Resuss (rock and indie covers)
Band members - Pete Cunningham, Mark Howe, Simon Garbutt and Jay Mentzoni
We are called Resuss because all original members were paramedics working in Wirral for NW Ambulance Services, hence Resuss. Two have left but the front man Mark Howe and guitarist Simon Garbutt are senior paramedics working on both the fast response cars and ambulances.

Having won the Base Camp Rocks band search, they recently launched a national T-shirt design competition and are set to release their debut EP on Anvil Recordings this spring.
