From the many hopefuls, the final few will go onto cook at Chester Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival where the Curry King or Queen will be crowned!

An evening of Italian Food & Wine Tasting with a bit of fun mixed in, including a quiz on all things Italian (with a bottle of wine for the winner) and a bit of a presentation about things to do, where to go in Italy and how and where to access information on recipes, products and trips. The evening will comprise of a wide range of tastings of Italian food products equivalent to a full multicourse supper, plus a range of wines, with at least half a bottle of wine aggregate per person, based on tasting a range of around 8 wines. Also, you will receive a takeaway information pack on Italian products, wines and points/trips of interest. £24 per head (10% discount for any member of The Restaurant Association or member of The Best of Chester) payment by debit/credit card on booking.

We have an on farm ice cream parlour selling over 10 flavours of ice cream and sorbets. All freshly made on our farm, using milk from our Jersey cows. We also serve hot and cold drinks with local homemade cakes. After your ice cream, why not come and see our Jersey calves.
Every visitor to the farm receives a free scoop worth £1.50! We would greatly appreciate a donation to go to the local charity – The Hospice of the Good Shepherd. See you there!

A fun introduction to growing for little green fingers. Children will plant up 2 pots from bedding plants to fruit and vegetables, depending on the season. One of our horticultural will give easy to follow instructions on planting and caring for their plants, along with tips on what to do when you get your plants home!
